The diagnosis of cancer can be very overwhelming and daunting. However, with advancements in cancer treatment, most cancers can now be treated effectively. At STO+G, we provide in-depth counselling and individualized treatment recommendations for women diagnosed with gynaecological cancers. Cancer can occur at any age, including in young women who are keen to start a family. We have both gynae-oncologists and fertility specialists who can help tailor treatment options, balancing the needs of achieving cancer cure while retaining childbearing ability.

We advocate for increased awareness and regular cancer screening. Amongst the gynaecological cancers, screening is most well-established for cancer of the cervix. If an abnormality is detected, we provide comprehensive tests for diagnosis and treatment for pre-cancer of the cervix. Early detection and treatment of pre-cancer reduces the risk of cancer development in future.
